Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North

All good, the hotel located in a nice area. We love the waterpark. Hotel was quiet and comfortable. An extra bed was requested through reception, and received in timely manner. There was a delay in the check-in process.

Our recent stay at Rixos Qetaifan Doha was nothing short of amazing, and a huge part of that experience was due to the incredible team who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We would especially like to recognize Ilham, Zouhir, Slimane, and Mohamed – four outstanding individuals whose professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly made our vacation unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the personalized service throughout our stay, they consistently ensured everything was perfect. Whether it was anticipating our needs, offering helpful recommendations, or simply making us smile with their positive energy, they each brought something special to our experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with top-notch facilities and a luxurious atmosphere, but it’s the people who work there who truly make the difference

The hotel itself was comfortable and nice atmosphere. The staff were helpful in getting me an early check in and also an extra bed. The buffet was ok but not 5 star. Overall I think compared to other 5 star hotels this hotel was 4 star. The all-inclusive was helpful in the hotel section but terrible for the water park. The food in the Italian restaurant was very bad quality especially the chicken strips. It was grey in colour as if been there for long time. I asked the staff would you eat this and ahe said no she wouldn't. The pool and beach bar were meant to be all inclusive but they really only had drinks available. Even the ice cream we were given the cup and just flavours and other branded ice creams were not included. Snacks were never available and some how always available for cabanas. These items were already paid for but they expect you to pay for it still to be "available". This made the rixos all inclusive look bad so I would recommend Rixos discuss this with Meryal management as it makes you look very stingy. Also the quality of food in the water park should be investigated by the Qatari food standard as well as the Qatari tourism ministry due to always been told things were unavailable. Having access to the water park was very good and was the reason we came to rixos.

I recently stayed at the two-bedroom beachfront villa and truly enjoyed the experience—breathtaking views, exceptional service, and a serene setting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. However, there were a few disappointing aspects that fell short of expectations, especially considering the VIP package and the premium cost of the villa: Food Quality and Value: As VIP guests, we expected a higher standard of food. Unfortunately, the menu was quite limited, and the quality did not match the rest of the resort experience. Additionally, many items came with extra charges, both at the pool and during dinner, which was unexpected for an all-inclusive stay. Even basic options like ice cream were restricted or overpriced, which felt inconsistent with the VIP promise. Cabana Access After Checkout: Although we checked out at 12 PM on our second day, we chose to spend the afternoon at the waterpark. We were surprised to find that access to our cabana was revoked, despite several being visibly unoccupied. Furthermore, we were unable to order food or even water without additional charges, which was disappointing given the overall price of the stay. For such a high-end experience, we believe that maintaining basic services—even after checkout—would go a long way in reinforcing the resort’s commitment to generosity, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.
