Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi

We stayed as a family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers). The delux family suite was fantastic and provided ideal accommodation for us. The hotel was beautifully presented, clean and luxurious. We have previously stayed twice at the Rixos Belek, so we naturally compared our stay at Abu Dhabi to this. We were slightly disappointed with the lack of activities for the teenagers to do in the evenings. At Belek they have the games room, with bowling, pool and arcade machines, but nothing like this was available in Abu Dhabi. We enquired with reception, who told us there were facilities in the kids club, but turns out these were removed. There was also nowhere for the family to watch sports in the evening, as the teenagers were not permitted in the Antidote bar. We were also disappointed that all sun loungers were reserved as soon as the pool opened. We were never able to have loungers by the pool as families / staff would reserve them before 7am. This was not our experience in Belek, where nobody reserved loungers before the pool opened. We did enjoy the a la carte meals in the Asian and Italian restaurant, and the buffets were good. We would like to have seen more a la carte options. The hotel is well located, and we liked being able to walk across to the mall. We also booked a fantastic trip to the desert, which was a highlight of a our vacation.

Had a 10 night stay with the family. Was an amazing stay, everything was 5 stars all round. Excellent service, food, activities, entertainment, good drinks selection and attention to detail

The only down side to this stay was the claim of how many Restaurants. Found two restaurants identical both self service extremely similar food.The Italian was book on the D. only which we were not told on check in. Again on check in we opted for All Inclusive explaining we need not pay for an other thing but we were not told wine was just two choices of white or a sparkling option. Other wine had extra costs. Another really down side to eating at the hotel with small children both under 4 the ALL places to eat were closed between 5 and 6.30 (absolutely crazy) and room service was again was an extra cost. When the restaurants were open they instantly became full therefor the clearing of tables was incredibly slow or non existence. On the plus side Hotel staff are incredibly friendly the hotel beautifully clean and well kept. Children's club was good fun and again very clean and a great staff and catered for a good age range. Honestly don't think my family would return.

It was good first time But a lot of guests it’s terrible for Your hotel Dinner was good, but a lane before it was terrible Lifts in lanes Everywhere was lanes And a last All rooms were full..we can’t to take more nights in your hotel that’s why we go to awful HIlton yas But we comeback in next winter

Beautiful location, but for the money I ve paid for 2x nights my expectations was a little bit higher...let's start with the staff from reception, a little bit bored without smile on his face , I got the keys from the room at 4pm even he told me he will message me when the room is ready ... The beds from the room way to small for 2x people, was a small double bed , because we didn't slept comfortably me an my husband we need to split each one with one kid to have more space .....this is a big minus in a 5* hotel ... Food good with various types of salad , was perfect for me who I came there with a health problem..only the grill from outside unfortunately you have impression they cook fresh for you , instead everything is reheated...I order calamari and shrimps everything was disgusting...
